The world has a long way to go when it comes to talking about grief and loss; our companion app helps families navigate the practicalities that come with the death of a loved one. As we move forward, we are constantly learning more about our users’  journey and their challenges in order to better serve their needs.

We're looking for a temporary contractor to join our product team.

In this role you will:

  • Write creative UX content and copy for our product (Mobile and Web)

  • Be part of every step in the product cycle. From initial research, wireframes, and UX to development and release to production

  • Work closely with our Product Managers, UX Designers, and Developers

  • Help organize, refine, manage, and optimize our online and app content offerings

  • Act as a steward of the Empathy voice, balancing in-depth information with compassion and unconditional support.

What we’re looking for

  • At least 2 years of experience in UX writing at a SaaS company/startup

  • Native-level fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English.

  • A deep understanding of voice and tone, including how paragraph and sentence structure, syntax, and word choice contribute to maintaining a specific brand voice

  • A self-driven worker, with a proven ability to push new initiatives and manage ongoing projects from start to finish

  • Capacity to work independently while also being a great‌ ‌team‌ ‌player

  • Motivation, with a can-do attitude and hands-on mentality

  • Superior communication, both written and verbal, across platforms and time zones

  • A keen eye for detail without losing sight of the big picture

  • A people person with excellent organizational and interpersonal skills

  • Prior knowledge of topics in the end-of-life space is helpful but not necessary

  • Ability to work in-office 4 days a week.
