We’re looking for a Business Development Manager to help us break into and expand within complex enterprise, high-value organizations. In this role, you’ll be on the front lines of our sales motion—identifying strategic accounts, engaging senior stakeholders, and creating qualified opportunities for our sales team. In this role you will
- Work closely with the sales team in your assigned territory to help create and execute pipeline growth plans
- Drive outbound prospecting through account and contact research
- Work closely with benefit consultants to drive awareness and create connections within local offices
- Process inbound lead qualification from email campaigns and website inquiries
- Drive attendance to marketing events, conferences and trade shows.
- Work within our CRM to track, analyze, and report on sales activities and KPIs while taking ownership in improving and creating various sales-related processes
- Communicate directly with various points of contact within our team to advance the sales effort
- Support the sales team at conferences and in-person meetings
- Close deals that fall within our minimum deal size
Requirements
- At least 1-2 years of work experience in a sales development role, experience developing enterprise leads a HUGE plus
- Experience in a customer service and relationship-building role
- Experience in the benefits, wellness or healthcare or SaaS space
- Experience in a role that has required curiosity, as well as great conversation and expert listener skills in order to be successful
- Experience hitting goals both through personal contributions and through collaboration with others
- Track record of resilience and success (can be from business, sports, arts, hobbies, or anything that requires dedication and perseverance)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Apps, LinkedIn, Sales Engagement Platforms and CRMs (Salesforce)
- Intellectual curiosity (deeper, open-minded and creative thinking to solve problems)
- Well-organized and self-motivated behaviors and can thrive in environments with limited oversight or managerial intervention
- Ability to adapt in a hyper growth fast changing environment

- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
The salary for this position ranges between $70,000-$80,000 base salary with variable compensation based on goal attainment, plus equity and full benefits package. The exact compensation is decided based on many factors, including but not limited to: skills, qualifications, and geographic location.
