In this role you will
The Enrollment Marketing Lead will own the strategy and execution for Empathy’s user acquisition programs through our B2B2C channels — employers, insurers, and financial partners. This person will be responsible for developing and managing both partner-facing and user-facing campaigns that fill the top of the user funnel and drive awareness, engagement, and activation among eligible individuals and families.
This role blends strategic partnership enablement, creative campaign development, and performance-driven marketing execution. The ideal candidate has experience in B2B2C employer benefits or insurance marketing and understands how to translate B2B relationships into meaningful, scalable user engagement. This role is based in New York and reports to the Flatiron office 3 days a week.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute an annual enrollment marketing strategy to increase awareness and enrollment among eligible users through our insurance, employer and wealth clients.
- Design and deliver multi-touch, scalable programs that reach users (e.g.,employees, policyholders, and beneficiaries) across digital, email and event channels.
- Develop a comprehensive year-long program calendar to nurture and engage insurance carriers, agents, brokers, and employers, driving awareness of Empathy and accelerating user enrollment.
- Partner closely with Customer Success and Product Marketing to create marketing materials and client toolkits that drive user education and adoption.
- Track and optimize campaign performance, identifying opportunities to increase engagement and conversion.
- Develop annual and seasonal engagement calendars aligned with client priorities (e.g., sales kick offs, open enrollment, life events).
- Support new client launches with strategic rollout plans and creative assets that build early awareness and drive enrollment.
- Maintain strong relationships with client stakeholders and internal teams to ensure seamless alignment and delivery across all campaigns.
- Stay informed on best practices in enrollment marketing, benefits communications, and insurance engagement to continually evolve Empathy’s approach.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in performance or growth marketing, with proven success driving measurable acquisition and revenue outcomes.
- Strong track record of managing paid campaigns across Google, Meta, LinkedIn, and other performance channels.
- Experience in B2B2C environments; understanding of how to reach both business buyers and downstream consumer audiences.
- Comfortable owning budgets, performance forecasting, and optimization of spend efficiency (ROAS, CAC, CPL, or pipeline ROI).
- Experience managing external agencies and vendors
- Strong analytical mindset with ability to interpret data and build action plans from insights.
- Excellent communicator and collaborator who thrives in cross-functional environments.
- Self-driven, resourceful, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
The salary for this position ranges between $160,000 - $170,000 which includes base salary. This is decided based on many factors, including but not limited to: skills, qualifications, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, we are proud to offer stock options in the company and a competitive benefits package.
