The People Operations Generalist sits at the center of it all - shaping every stage of the employee journey, from welcoming new team members to the mission, managing key engagement processes to advising managers on inclusion practices.

In our high-growth, office based culture, we are looking for a dynamic People Operations Generalist to build a world class people offering. Reporting to the Head of People, US this role is based onsite, working out of our NYC office three times a week. Join us!

In this role you will

  • Manage all day to day HR operations. Using the HRIS systems, you will manage the administration of onboarding, offboarding, employee status changes and leave processes. 
  • Troubleshoot general systems, computer and access issues with local and remote team members. 
  • Optimize HR systems, including our tools and practices, to maximize organization and maintain internal SLAs.   
  • Partner with managers and employees to answer HR-related questions using your excellent judgement. 
  • Jump in wherever needed to support the People team on engagement initiatives to streamlining projects.

Requirements

  • Experience using PEO & HRIS systems
  • 4 years of professional experience, at least 2 of them in the start up scene 
  • Proven experience managing HR systems, data, and improving operational processes
  • A can-do, solutions-oriented attitude - you roll up your sleeves and get it done
  • Hyper-organized with great attention to detail and follow-through
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to build trust across the organization
  • Comfort with ambiguity and shifting priorities - you adapt quickly and thrive in a startup culture

Additional Information:

The salary for this position ranges between $90,000 - $108,000. This is decided based on many factors, including but not limited to: skills, qualifications, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, we are proud to offer stock options in the company and a competitive benefits package.
