In this role you will

The Senior Manager, Growth Marketing will own Empathy’s paid media, digital growth, and performance marketing programs across our B2B2C ecosystem. This person will be responsible for driving revenue, pipeline, and user acquisition through integrated campaigns across paid channels (LinkedIn, Meta, Google, display/retargeting) and owned digital properties.

This role blends strategic leadership, hands-on execution, and analytical rigor. The ideal candidate has experience leading growth or performance marketing in a B2B and B2B2C environment, managing both internal teams and external agencies, and translating partner journeys into scalable acquisition programs.

This role will manage a team including a Web Lead, Growth Marketing Specialist, and AEO/SEO Manager, as well as oversee our performance marketing agency. This role is based in New York and reports to the Flatiron office 3 days a week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own Empathy’s paid media strategy and execution across paid digital channels including but not limited to, LinkedIn, Meta, Google, display/retargeting, and direct media buys.
  • Oversee the AI‑Powered Search & Content Optimization Lead Manager and Web Lead to ensure on-site optimization, organic search performance, and landing page experience support overall acquisition and enrollment objectives.
  • Build and optimize full-funnel campaigns that drive pipeline, revenue, and user acquisition across employer, insurance, and financial clients partnering closely with Demand Gen and Enrollment Marketing to align targeting, messaging, and activation tactics.
  • Manage and optimize our performance marketing agency, ensuring campaigns meet our goals, ROI and efficiency targets.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the internal growth marketing team (Web Lead, Growth Marketer, AEO/SEO Manager), providing clarity on priorities, KPIs, and execution standards.
  • Oversee experimentation and testing across creative, messaging, offers, audience segments, landing pages, and channel mix.
  • Collaborate with Marketing Ops & Analytics to track, measure, and report on campaign performance, deriving actionable insights to drive continual improvement.
  • Partner with the design team to ensure creative across channels is consistent with Empathy’s brand but drives measurable business results. 
  • Stay current on trends in paid media, SEO/AEO, Web optimization, and digital privacy, translating insights into actionable strategies.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in performance or growth marketing, ideally in B2B or B2B2C environments.
  • Proven ability to drive measurable acquisition, revenue, and enrollment outcomes through paid media, organic channels, and web optimization.
  • Strong experience managing campaigns across Google, Meta, LinkedIn, and other performance marketing channels.
  • Experience managing and mentoring internal teams, including specialists and managers, and overseeing external agencies.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using data to optimize campaigns, channels, and user journeys.
  • Ability to translate partner and user insights into scalable acquisition strategies.
  • Excellent communicator and collaborator, able to work cross-functionally with Enrollment Marketing, Demand Generation, Client Success, Brand, and Design teams.
  • Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment and balances strategic thinking with hands-on execution.

The salary for this position ranges between $170,000 - $180,000 which includes base salary. This is decided based on many factors, including but not limited to: technical skills, qualifications, and geographic location.
