About Empathy

Empathy is on a mission to build a more resilient world by helping people everywhere plan for and deal with life’s toughest moments. Our award-winning flagship loss support product, powered by tech and driven by purpose, provides clarity and confidence by guiding individuals through all the tedious and time-consuming tasks associated with loss. Combining tech and human touch, we make it possible for people to focus on what truly matters while supporting them through the logistics and emotions that follow. Our second product, Empathy LifeVault was designed to create a new standard in legacy and estate planning that’s intuitive, secure, and educational, with the ability to generate, organize, and store legal documents with extreme ease.

Through partnerships with leading insurers, forward-looking financial institutions, and innovative employers, we’ve expanded access to Empathy to over 45 million covered lives across North America. And we’re just getting started, which is where our team comes in.

Our team is passionate, empathetic, and dedicated to getting world-class products in the hands of those dealing with emotionally charged and logistically hard moments of crisis, and to partnering with industry leaders to bring Empathy to the masses. We work collaboratively to identify pain points and design elegant solutions for users and partners alike. We aim to move the industry and cultural expectations of supporting people through life’s hardest moments forward.
