Empathy Deepens Its Presence in Canada with New BMO Insurance Partnership

Today, we’re proud to share a meaningful next chapter in our Canadian journey with a new partnership with BMO Insurance, expanding access to bereavement support for families across Canada.

This collaboration builds on growing momentum for Empathy in Canada. Empathy has already partnered with TD and iA Financial Group to bring bereavement support to Canadians – first by integrating it into estate settlement with TD, and then by extending it to more policyholders through iA. Now, we’re continuing that progress with BMO Insurance, raising the standard for how families are supported after a loss.

Extending care beyond financial protection

Through this partnership, Empathy’s Loss Support is available to eligible BMO Insurance policyholders across a broad range of life and critical illness products. BMO Insurance is also among the earliest insurers to introduce bereavement support to Guaranteed Investment Funds, an important signal of what it truly means to support families beyond the payout.
