Sam Mindlin is a business development and venture leader with deep experience helping startups navigate and grow within large financial institutions. At TIAA Ventures, the early- and growth-stage investment arm of TIAA and Nuveen, he leads portfolio and business development, working directly with portfolio companies on go-to-market strategy, pricing, sales acceleration, and product roadmap development, while advising internal business partners on technology transformation initiatives. Prior to his current role, Sam built his career across corporate strategy, corporate development, and product management, including internal consulting at TIAA across retirement, insurance, wealth management, and AI implementation.
Amanda Paolino
Amanda Paolino is an investor at SemperVirens Venture Capital, where she focuses on early-stage companies transforming healthcare, fintech, and the future of work. She partners with startups on go-to-market strategy and enterprise adoption, with a particular focus on how emerging technologies like AI can drive measurable business impact in complex, regulated industries. Prior to joining SemperVirens, Amanda built her career at the intersection of strategy and execution, advising Fortune 500 businesses on technology transformation at Deloitte before joining an early-stage infrastructure startup.
